    Mallick Plumbing has been the plumber of choice for the apartment community I manage for 14 years.  I have had them repair everything from simple plumbing repairs to installing tank-less water heaters and fire hydrant problems.  We have had issues arise on nights and weekends; they are always there to help.  Just like with everything in life sometimes things don't go as anticipated and the job costs change and they are upfront about it every time.

    Every single employee we have encountered has been awesome; Dale, Mike (there are a few of them), Chris, Danielle, Sam, Brian, Jeff, Ken, and even Bobby.  I'm sure I missed many more.  If I did please know you are all great.

    Sure you may pay more than other companies but you likely will not get the years of experience they look for when searching for new employees.  In addition, you may not get a company that has 24-hour service.

    In my opinion, you will not regret calling Mallick.

    I called Mallick for an issue with a flange problem after trying to install a new toilet. They sent a plumber that day and I was told that I needed to have my concrete floor partially removed to fix it correctly. I asked if they could have someone come the next day and they said yes.


    Frank R. came to my home at 8:00 AM and did an incredible job of explaining, fixing and cleaning up within a few hours. Frank was professional, courteous and the perfect example of what customer service should be with the expert plumbing knowledge required. I can appreciate it all since I own my own business requiring the same.


    In addition, I mentioned to Frank that my Jacuzzi tub would not come on and he said let me take a look and found the problem within minutes and will be returning with the replacement part.

    I called Mallick based on reviews I had read and I appreciate that they are not a huge franchise plumbing company. Frank came out, did some diagnostics, and repaired the problem. Or so we had thought! Then they came back out to re-assess and figure out the problem. Ultimately I can say that they are dedicated to determining the problem and if they do not, they are dedicated to making sure you are 100% satisfied with their service. Love them -- and for sure will be hiring them again!

    I had a water leak in the ceiling of my kitchen, below the washing machine upstairs. Called Mallick and Dale came out within 90 minutes and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was the washer and its pan, not the plumbing. Dale spent the time to explain the issue and how to proceed. Also, looked at my water heater and pipes in the basement and recommended upkeep in the future, but was not trying to sell me on anything - just provided good homeowner advice. It was appreciated.

    We have enthusiastically called on this company three times now over a couple of years for slow leaks in three different bathrooms in our home. They are an honest company, by suggesting you insert your own dye tablets or food coloring in the top tank, and if the food coloring drains down into the toilet bowl, you'll know you have a slow water leak, indicating you need to call them for service. Every aspect of this company is professional, from start to finish. You call their office to schedule an appointment, and the technician calls you when he is on his way. They explain their diagnosis and the solution, and they get the job done quickly and efficiently.The technician wears booties to protect your carpet, as an added bonus. We highly recommend Frank and Dale, two of their senior technicians, who did great work at our home.

    I had an overhead shut off valve in my laundry room that was leaking. I took it apart and went to Home Depot to try to replace it. No go on that. So I called Mallick Plumbing. They told me it would be between 1-4pm (it was now 10 am), so I agreed. The guy who came out was Mike C. and he got there earlier than promised. He was very friendly, and professional, even offering to rebuild the valve to save money. I just went ahead and had him replace it. He did a great job installing the new shut off valve and even cleaned up the pipe so it wouldn't turn green. I could not be happier with the work that was done. I'd definitely recommend these guys for your plumbing needs.

    First off-- they are the ONLY plumbing company that has ever come the next day (after calling them).  We have had many issues over the years and have tried many different plumbers.  This company comes when they say that they do - and on time!

    Frank R. was very helpful.  He fixed our two toilets and sinks.  During the repairs, he noticed that our hot water heater was dying and causing other problems.  He installed our new hot water heater the next week.  Everything was efficient, perfect and without any issues.  We have not had any problems with our plumbing since.  He is a great asset to the company.

Afterwards, I asked them if they could snake the laundry room sink and instead of doing the job and taking the money, Dale offered me a better, cheaper alternative that made sense after he explained it.

    We discovered that a section of our basement had gotten flooded over the weekend due to a leak in our water pipe and were desperately searching for a plumber to come out right away.  Mallick is one of the few plumbing companies that actually have people answering their phone instead of making you leave a message and hoping someone will call within 24 hours or more.  Jeff J. of Mallick Plumbing came out promptly the next morning and ended up replacing a front hose bibb.  He also replaced a flapper in one of our toilets.  He did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend him.  He had to come out to our house twice to do this job and the price was very reasonable.  The next time I have a plumbing issue, I will not hesitate to call Jeff.

    I'm very happy with my experience with Mallick Plumbing & Heating.  I sent an email to their service department to fix my water pressure in our master bathroom and within 48 hours, my inquiry was responded to with a call to schedule an appointment.  I was given multiple appointment windows in a week's time frame and scheduled the appointment.  The service technician showed up at our house at the beginning of our 2-hour window, assessed our water pressure problem, evaluated our entire HVAC and plumbing system, fixed the water pressure problem and was out of the house within an hour.  The service was also very affordable.  

    I appreciate good service, honest solutions and fair pricing; all of which I received from Mallick Plumbing & Heating.  I will use this company again for residential plumbing and HVAC issues and will refer my friends.

    I had an emergency after Washington Gas said that there was a gas leak from the meter from the regulator and they said that it needed to be replaced immediately. They were able to send someone over in a few hours and although the cost was on emergency rates, the pricing was still competitive among other companies and were very responsive. They had someone come over beforehand to check the leak to see what part needed to be replaced before they had the technician come over which was very helpful. Troy was very knowledgeable and explained things in layman terms so it was easy to understand. I would highly recommend Mallick Plumbing & Heating for future issues.

    Best plumbing experience ever!  I have had some bad experiences with plumbers so I needed a new one and looked at Yelp reviews for help choosing one.  Mallick is highly rated so I called them for help with a backed up shower drain, a leak under a sink and installation of a new faucet.  I was able to get a same-day appointment, and the plumbers - Troy and Connor - arrived when they said they would and went right to work.  They were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.  I had had the shower drain snaked about 6 months before by a different company and it started backing up again within a month.  Troy did a thorough job by not only snaking the drain but also cleaning out what looked like about 25 years of calcium build-up, which was narrowing the drain.  The final cost of the visit was a total bargain for the quality of the work performed. Mallick Plumbing & Heating will be my go-to plumbers from now on.  A++++++++++

    My electric water heater needed to be replaced so, after speaking with 3 plumbing companies, I invited Mallick out for an evaluation.  Gene arrived promptly, went over recommendations.  I chose one model -- not cheap, but the price included installation and they carry a line of "industrial-grade" water heaters you can't buy at Home Depot.  He returned with the water heater and J.T.   The old appliance was clogged, so removal was very difficult and the job took 1+1/2 hrs. Longer than expected.  No extra charge!  They covered my floors when they had to bring the old one through to the front door.  For their promptness, professionalism and cheerful determination, Mallick has earned my future business!

    Terrific. I bought a condo that had recently been renovated. Was surprised to be greeted my first morning here with only lukewarm water in the shower. Called two other plumbers first -- one ignored me, and the other couldn't get to me soon enough. Mallick was able to schedule me quickly and quoted their rates up front. Before the plumber began work, he double checked to be sure I knew their rates. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, and I no longer feel like I'm camping in my own home. I'll use them again if I have the need for another plumbing repair.

    I called to have my water heater replaced. It was 20 years old and was leaking from one of the valves.  I called Mallick based off all the great Yelp reviews. I worked with Mike and Connor. They did a wonderful job of installing my water heater. They made recommendations but no pressure. 

    Educating the Customer:
    They also took the time to explain:
    * My old water heater vs the new water heater 
    * They labeled everything and explained the labels
    * How to bleed the pipes so in the winter there are no issues and
    * What do in case I need to turn off the water  
    This rarely happens that someone takes the time to make sure you are better informed and put you at ease.  This was really important to me. Before calling them, my basement area was gushing out water and it took me a couple of stressful minutes to find the shut-off valve.  I could not remember which valve was which.

    Overall:
    I would definitely recommend and use Mallick again. I really appreciate their timeliness, educating the customer and how professional they were.

    My hot water heater was leaking bad and it was 15 years old. Mallick came out the same day and quickly assessed the what needed to be done. They came back the next day with a new hot water heater and got it installed quickly.     Mallick Plumbing goes above and beyond. I moved to a new home and called them to address some issues that became apparent within the first two weeks of living there. Billy arrived and was amazing. He was patient, extremely thorough, extremely knowledgeable, found a serious safety issue the home inspectors missed (cracked water heater vent pipe = carbon monoxide in the house), and worked a long day to get it all completed. Simple items turned out to be a bigger deal once the work started, mainly because the work wasn’t done correctly by whomever had previously tried to address the issues. Long story short, if you want things fixed right, call Mallick. Highly recommend.

    I'd like to begin i had 3 estimates before i contacted Mallick Plumbing and Jacob George was the person who came to inspect my water main line break and give me an estimate ( Lucky me i had him ) :)Right from the get go he asked questions which no one else asked and when i showed the inside where i had thought was a crack and small amount of water was dripping for a long time. All the other personnel did not even bother to touch it but Jacob insisted it was not a crack just dust he proved it by cleaning it and told me what the real issue was ( the main reason i had decided i was gonna go with Mallick ) and as far as main water line out in my lawn was concerned , he went out of the way to figure out where it was leaking and kept putting his arm under a pool of water which was easily 3 feet deep and predicted the leak was right where the main water line connects to the curb side stop like a true professional and viola when it was dug and repaired it was exactly the very same spot he had predicted. I had even showed him the pic. The only reason i went with Mallick Plumbing was because of Jacob's deep concern towards not just getting my issue fixed but to getting it fixed in the right and the correct way! He didn't have to get dirty just to hand me out a free estimate but he did that showed his dedication and professionalism. All the staff is friendly and responded well keeping me in the loop as to what was going on. I would definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.

    "EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!"
    This plumbing company is EXCELLENT!!! Water was flooding into our basement just two days before we were leaving for an 8-day vacation. Our sump pump had always been dry whenever we looked into it. It seemed that the water was coming up through our underground drain in our furnace room. We soon figured out that we needed a plumber quick since whatever we did was not helping. Jose from Mallick Plumbing was able to figure it out quickly. He determined that our sump pump was not working and replaced it with a new one. He was quick, efficient, polite, professional and calm. He recommended that we call Level 4 Property Services to make certain we would not get mold in our basement after such a disaster. That was a great recommendation! We were also very happy with Jose's partner, Wilikerman Kollie. When he saw my husband and me running around trying to carry items away from the flooded area, he quickly joined us in saving so many of our possessions. My husband and I are seniors so we really appreciated his help. I think we have a new plumbing company. Mallick is the best!!!

    I am remodeling my master bathroom and I contacted Mallick Plumbing to come and provide me with an estimate for the rough-in. The gentleman who came out to meet me was on time and was very polite and knowledgeable at his trade. I scheduled the work to be performed by Mallick and Jacob was back out to do the work at the scheduled time. Jacob did a quality job and it was obvious that he took pride in his work. There was one item overlooked that I noticed after Jacob had left. I called in and spoke with Dale, who was a pleasure to work with, and he had Jacob back out to take care of the overlooked item very quickly and Jacob performed the task with the same quality of workmanship he used on the rest of his work.
